Six of San Luis Obispo’s most innovative technology startups competed on April 18th at the second annual Central California Angel Conference to win a $100,000 angel investment.
De Oro Devices, the creators of the Gaitway medical device, won the competition. Gaitway helps people with Parkinson’s disease restore mobility after freezing of gait, the feeling of onset immobility many patients experience.
The winner of the Audience Choice Awards was Tasty, a company that tracks consumer sensory preferences, like wine and perfume, to tailor their buying experience with artificial intelligence.
Atsá Foods, Bishop Peak Technology, Mantis Composites and Elite Robotics also competed in the conference.
